“You’ll be a part of planning the shifts for up to 200 colleagues, across 10 departments within LEGO® House. At the same time, you’ll be part of rethinking this vital area, directly impacting the way we plan and operate,” explains Annette Gram Sørensen, Senior Operation Manager.

The planning bricks behind LEGO® House

You will be a part of an operational team of 3 competent colleagues. Together, we navigate the day-to-day complexities of keeping the house in working order, including solving the puzzle that is creating and maintaining schedules for your colleagues throughout the different areas of the House.

In this, there are many and varied factors to consider, including fluctuating seasonal demands, hourly commitments, and full-time employees.

You use operational insight to elevate workforce management

As a Workforce Planner, your primary focus is to ensure adequate staffing for LEGO® House, working closely with department managers, team leaders, and employees, ensuring collective participation and efficiency in planning.

Furthermore, you will wear both an operational and a tactical hat, defining processes, tools, agreements, and other vital parameters that form the backbone of our operational framework.

In addition, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Take a hands-on role in the shift scheduling system and ensuring deployment of the workforce
  • Oversee essential WFM elements like vacation, absence, and daily time registrations, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Challenge the status quo and introduce ideas of improvements that elevate our operational framework
  • Reduce complexities – leading to streamlined planning and lessened workload on leaders

 

Change agent with experience in planning

This role requires a wide understanding of processes, allowing you to precisely identify and optimize steps in scheduling that may need redefinition.

We envision someone with an analysis mindset, expert coordinating abilities, and attention to detail. At the same time, you understand the importance of clear communication and alignment within the team, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and that changes are implemented seamlessly.

Additionally, you possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar scheduling and planning position
  • Knowledge of labor law and industry best practices for scheduling and workforce management
  • Effective communication skills
  • Fluent proficiency in Danish and English, both spoken and written
